I began training with Amy when my physio recommended I go to the gym, something I wasn’t keen to do, but Amy was recommended to me. That was 8 years ago, and I still look forward to my weekly training sessions with her.
Amy is positive, motivational, supportive and fun. She is also highly knowledgeable. I am now 74yrs and despite health issues, have maintained a good level of fitness and a stable healthy weight. I truly value my sessions and have no hesitation in recommending Amy as a personal trainer.
Christine – Age 74
I have been training with Amy for nineteen years and it is because of her personality and encouragement that it has been that long. I am not somebody who loves exercise but started to go to the gym because I noticed how unfit I was becoming. It is there that I met Amy.
Her bubbly personality makes you want to exercise. Her nature is to encourage and support in addition to helping you progress as your fitness levels increase. I am in my seventies and notice how physically stronger I am in comparison with my peers.
To my knowledge she works with all ages and abilities and I have never known her to be anything other than good. I would highly recommend her to anybody whether you are an exercise loving person or not.
Sheila – Age 73
I began my journey with Amy after having a knee operation 6 years ago. She got me back to full strength and enabled me to enjoy my love for running again. I love my weekly sessions – as well as keeping me fit our sessions help me mentally and Amy certainly brightens my day!
Catherine – Age 42
After my husband had a stroke aged 75 and when the standard hospital rehabilitation program stopped, we both thought it even more important that he continued with an exercise program. So six months after his stroke, he started training with Amy twice a week for 30 minutes. He’s continued to do this for the past five years and is now 81 (July 2022). Amy has gently and gradually taken him through various exercises, which has meant he has maintained his strength and improved his mobility and flexibility. There is no doubt that exercising twice a week with Amy has meant he is stronger both physically and mentally. He loves his sessions which are filled with a variety of exercises tailored for his ability, and lots of laughter. It also gives him a sense of achievement and well-being.
